Hi, I'm Nicole.

I help busy women cut through the noise around nutrition and wellness and figure out what actually works for them.

You're busy. Really busy.

You're working. Looking after your family. Maybe helping aging parents, too. Trying to get to the gym. Answering emails. Remembering appointments. Figuring out what's for dinner. Trying to stay on top of your own health while everyone else seems to need something from you.

And somewhere in all of that, you're supposed to find time for “self-care”.

Maybe you don't feel quite like yourself anymore. Your energy has changed. You’re flat out exhausted.
Your stress feels harder to manage. Your digestion isn't as predictable. You're trying to understand what's going on with your body, but you're not sure where to start.

So you start looking for answers.

And that's when things get really confusing.

There's always another diet, another supplement, another expert telling you what you should be doing. One person says one thing, another says the complete opposite, and before long, taking care of yourself feels like another job.

It shouldn't.

You don't need more information thrown at you.
You need someone to help you make sense of it.

Someone who can look at the bigger picture, help you understand what's going on, figure out what actually matters, and then help you turn that into something you can realistically do.

That's the work I love.

I believe wellness should fit into your life.

I don't believe there's one perfect way to be healthy.

Your life isn't the same as anyone else's, so your approach to wellness shouldn't be either.

There is a lot of information out there about nutrition, health and wellness. A lot of it is useful. A lot of it is conflicting. And a lot of it can leave you wondering what you're actually supposed to do. It’s confusing.

Part of my job is helping you make sense of it all.

We can look at the bigger picture, figure out what actually matters for you, and then simplify it into something that feels manageable and realistic.

Because knowing what might support your health is one thing.

Knowing what to do with that information in your actual life is another.

Whether we're talking about your health, your kitchen, your workplace, or gathering around a table, that's the thread running through my work - taking something that feels complicated and making it simpler, more practical, and easier to put into practice.

So, why me?

My path here has been a little unconventional.

I spent 26 years as an aerospace engineer in the Canadian Armed Forces before moving into yoga, nutrition and more recently, culinary training.

It may seem like a strange combination, but there's a thread running through all of it:
I've always been curious about how things work.

I like asking questions, looking at the bigger picture, figuring out what matters and finding practical solutions.

That way of thinking has stayed with me.

I don't want to hand you a rigid plan and tell you to follow it perfectly. I want to understand the person in front of me, connect the dots, and help find an approach that makes sense for her.

And yes, in case you’re wondering, I've always loved food, too.

Cooking it. Travelling for it. Wandering through farmers' markets. Finding the little restaurant that only the locals seem to know about.

Over time, that love of food became a fascination with nutrition and eventually led me into culinary training.

But the more I've learned, the more convinced I've become that wellness isn't about getting every piece perfect.

It's about figuring out which pieces matter most.

What I enjoy most

I love taking something that feels complicated and making it feel a little more manageable.

That might mean helping you understand what's going on with your body and figure out where to focus.

It might mean looking at all the information out there about nutrition and wellness and helping you sort through it - what's useful, what's not, and what actually makes sense for you.

It might mean making everyday meals easier, making your kitchen feel less stressful, or finding a few simple ways to make life easier.

It might mean helping a group of employees find simple, practical ways to support their health and wellbeing.

Or it might mean gathering people around a table and cooking a really good meal.

The setting may change, but the goal doesn't.

Less overwhelm. More clarity. Practical things that work in real life.

Calm the Chaos

Not sure where to start? Let's have a chat.

Maybe you're looking for some one-on-one support, want help making your kitchen and meals feel easier, or you're simply curious about how we might work together. If you're not quite sure which direction makes sense, we can talk it through.

Calm the Chaos is a complimentary 30-45 minute conversation where we can talk about what you're looking for, what you're hoping to change, and whether I might be the right person to help.

There's no pressure to book anything. It's simply a chance to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and figure out what makes sense from here.

BOOK A “CALM THE CHAOS” CALL

The things that support our health aren’t separate from everyday life.

They’re woven into how we eat, cook, move, rest, and live. 🌿
